Charles G. Evans

Charles G. Evans joined the firm as Of Counsel in June 2020. Mr. Evans’ practice includes surety defense, commercial transactions, and creditor rights. He has experience in all phases of administrative, trial, and appellate practice. Jury trial experience includes cases involving surety and construction matters, commercial and real estate contracts, the reinsurance industry, and criminal felonies.

Experience

Charles has represented sureties in the last frontier of Alaska for more than forty years. From rebids and completion of defaulted contracts in remote locations, to bonded but busted roads, schools, hospitals and dams, and solved problems with local knowledge and expertise. He is experienced in all surety bonds, including payment and performance, fidelity, court, specialty and miscellaneous and in all phases of default, performance, claims, exoneration and salvage recovery related to surety bonds in both complex and routine matters. Mr. Evans is also an experienced arbitrator and mediator.
