Nicholas Bajwa joined the firm in January of 2021. He is Of Counsel with the firm. Mr. Bajwa handles commercial transactions and civil litigation matters. Mr. Bajwa’s clients range from Fortune 500 companies to native corporations, regional and local businesses, and individuals.
Mr. Bajwa’s practice focuses primarily on business, real estate, property tax, and probate matters. He works with organizations, companies, individuals and businesses on many issues, including commercial and real estate transactions, governance, financing and others.
Mr. Bajwa’s experience working for Alaska-focused companies like JL Properties, Inc. and ConocoPhillips provides insight into the business needs of his clients in Alaska. In his free time, Mr. Bajwa enjoys skiing and hiking with his wife and four children.
Experience
On the transactional side of his practice, Mr. Bajwa handles a wide range of business and commercial matters spanning from entity formation, commercial leasing and real estate transactions, acquisitions, and commercial financing.
On the litigation side of his practice, Mr. Bajwa has practiced in administrative proceedings regarding state and municipal property tax disputes, as well as matters before state court and federal bankruptcy court. He has handled matters at the trial level as well as appeals to the Alaska Supreme Court. Mr. Bajwa’s litigation practice has included matters involving state petroleum property tax disputes, commercial and business disputes, probate disputes, and disputes under the Unfair Trade Practices Act (UTPA).
Mr. Bajwa is currently a board member with the Anchorage Ski Club, a non-profit organization.
