Key to the strike’s success.

When Ray Goad came to work for JDO he was here about a week when I had to send him to cover a strike by the Longshoremen in Whittier.  He kept the strike from becoming dangerously violent.  He was able to work successfully with the police the union and the employer.  He was key to the success of the strike.
